In 2019, IHL Projects successfully delivered a new concept for Marks & Spencer. We were selected to act as the principal contractor and fit-out contractor for the first ever airside 'M&S Food To Go' unit at Birmingham Airport. The project was delivered in four weeks, including the strip out of the existing retail unit.
IHL Projects worked with Wates Group to deliver a brand new full line M&S store in Kingsley Village, Cornwall. This new build was fitted out over a period of eight weeks, with IHL looking after the full shopfit package. We installed all perimeter panelling, salesfloor equipment, tills, column cladding and fitting rooms.
IHL Projects are accustomed to working in tightly regulated environments like airports and railway stations. We have delivered multiple airport projects, including most notably, an array of airport lounges, both directly for clients and as a sub-contractor. We've worked in Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Birmingham Airport and are fully versed in their security procedures.
IHL Projects assisted Wates Group with the delivery of Marks & Spencer's first ever 'Renewal' store in Hempstead Valley. We were on site for ten weeks, completely changing the store's image, all whilst keeping it trading. IHL played a key part in the delivery of the shopfit package and general builder's works.
IHL Projects have assisted various companies, providing management and labour to help deliver numerous bars and restaurants across the UK. This includes works in tightly regulated environments, such as Bottega Bar and Factory Bar, both at Birmingham Airport, and Camden Bar, located at Stansted Airport.
IHL Projects were the principal contractor for the delivery of the brand new M&S Simply Food in Norwich Station. Over six weeks we stripped out the existing coffee shop and undertook a full fit out of the unit, including new fridges, ambient displays, tills, flooring, ceilings, signage and a coffee machine.
